Portfolio of Works

This collection is a series based on historical photos and maps from 100-150 years ago. These scenes are NOT simply painted onto an old map. The map is hand painted onto to the canvas using archival ink pigments. The scene is then painted over the map in oil.

This collection features wildlife and domestic animals. Here you will find an assortment of bison, horses, moose, and smaller animals,  like the red fox, raccoons. I also have many birds from eagles, osprey, and ferruginous hawks to robins. All animals are from western Canada, mostly BC, Alberta and northern provinces.
